As of December 31, 2017, Mudrick Capital managed approximately $1.8 billion, primarily for institutional clients such as pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, family offices, funds of funds and high net worth individuals.
Our Chief Executive Officer and the President of Mudrick Capital, Jason Mudrick, has in excess of 16 years of experience investing in the public and private markets for distressed debt and post-restructured equities. Mr. Mudrick began his career working as an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch & Co in 2000. Towards the end of 2001 he joined Contrarian Capital Management, LP, and an investment firm specializing in distressed debt.
